![]() ![]() The other possible alternative that could happen is that WG may choose to release the RN CVs preemptively balanced in anticipation their CV overhaul, which may result in poor performance until the IJN and USN CVs were overhauled and rebalanced to match. The CV overhaul should not be a big issue though considering WG intends to release it in sections so that CV players can adjust to them without tanking their scores/skills too badly, but neither should it be rushed and result in a half-afted change just to get the RN CVs out sooner. It would be more ideal for WG to just push back the RN CV release to 2018 and continue rolling out the CV overhaul as planned in sections but considering that they were promising that the CV overhaul would come in 2017 "this time" after pushing it back all of 2016, and the fact that WG also rushed out the IJN DD line split prematurely (with the promise of adding the T9 and T10 "shortly after" then promptly forgetting about it), then also rushing out the KM DD line with last-minute changes no one outside of WG saw coming in preparation for the later OWSF change, I'm expecting them to be a last-minute release in December, just to say they got both the CV overhaul and RN CV line out as promised. I'd rather wait till 2019 for RN carriers then see a half-assed implementation of either the CV overhaul or the RN carriers themselves, which pose a number of unique challenges in terms of balance with particularly heavy AA, smaller aircraft compliment and of course thorough protection. A rushed CV overhaul and introduction of RN CVs is, in my opinion, the worst thing that could happen. ![]()
